Partner with Puerto Rico Reporta: Supporting Accessibility Through Action
By Equipo de PReporta · July 6, 2026

Creating accessible communities takes more than one sector. Residents, professionals, organizations, and businesses all have a part to play.
Puerto Rico Reporta gives people a way to document barriers to mobility and accessibility in their communities. Once reviewed and approved, their reports appear on a public map, helping others see where problems occur and where they may be recurring.
For this work to reach more people and continue growing, we need partners who believe in its purpose. We invite businesses, professionals, and organizations to support Puerto Rico Reporta as sponsors or community partners.
Ways to support the project
There are several ways to contribute, depending on your interests and capacity.
Gift certificates, services, and other in-kind contributions can help us recognize residents who take the time to report barriers. Sponsors can also support workshops, educational activities, and outreach that help more people learn about the platform and how to use it.
Sponsorship agreements can help sustain the platform, expand community outreach, and support education about accessibility, mobility, and civic participation. Contributions of all sizes can help this work reach further.
Why accessibility matters to your business
Accessibility shapes the daily lives of customers, patients, employees, students, and families. A business may offer excellent services, but a blocked sidewalk or unsafe crossing can still make it difficult for someone to get there.
These barriers affect people with disabilities, older adults, caregivers, parents pushing strollers, people recovering from injuries, and many others. Supporting Puerto Rico Reporta is a way to recognize their experiences and help bring community needs into view.
It also shows that your business or organization is willing to take part in a broader conversation about safety, independence, and quality of life. That commitment can matter to the people you serve.
A partnership built on clarity
Puerto Rico Reporta brings together residents’ experiences, collaborative mapping, technology, and public education. Sponsors help us recognize participants, reach more communities, and keep those conversations going.
Sponsors are part of a network of support. Public agencies retain their responsibility for the streets and spaces under their care; our partners help residents document barriers, share information, and participate in discussions about what needs attention.
We publicly recognize sponsors and community partners for their contributions. Depending on the collaboration, that recognition may appear on our website, in educational materials, on social media, or at community activities. When a business name, logo, or link appears on our sponsors page, we will make its relationship with Puerto Rico Reporta clear.
Trust grows when people know who supports a project and how.
